Mission of the Center
The mission of The John Paul II Center “Do not be afraid!” is to promote the Holy Father’s spirituality, culture and related traditions, by offering on-going spiritual, educational and social activities. The center will continue the work of the John Paul II Institute, founded by Cardinal Franciszek Macharski, to further study the works and teachings of Cardinal Karol Wojtyła, professor of ethics and pastor of the Archdiocese of Krakow. The center will also provide opportunities to learn about the ideals the Holy Father expressed in his teachings and papal coat of arms: Totus tuus, All yours. The public will be invited to live out these ideals by participating in prayer, spiritual retreats, group meetings and lectures. This enriching resource center will be an integral part of the “New Evangelization” for generations to come.
